About Me
My life has been a healing and awakening journey. By the time my elders immigrated from Asia, they had already experienced spiritual fragmentation as a result of poverty, famine, colonization, civil war, revolution, and immigration which I inherited. I had a mental health crisis in my mid-20s which I later realized was the start of a protracted spiritual awakening.
I found healing through the integration of therapy with traditional practices such as Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, and indigenous wisdom. I received guidance from my ancestors and elders who shared their stories of surviving war and destitution. I realigned with my divinity through spiritual practice, community, bodywork, plant medicine, farming, creativity and movement. I retrieved and rebirthed my soul through grief, dream, inner child, and shadow work. I not only found healing, but experienced a profound awakening in the process.
We are becoming conscious of an infinite intelligence beyond the mind through which we are inseparable from and interdependent upon everything within and around us. It’s time to grow up by decolonizing our relationship with Mother Earth. The first step is to transmute our fear into love by shedding light on our shadows.
